About FAME:
The 93rd Florida Annual Meeting and Exposition (FAME) conference is organized by the Florida Local Section of the American Chemical Society (FLACS), with participation from the other five Local Sections in Florida. This year’s conference will include technical symposia covering a wide range of sub-disciplines, including Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Chemical Education, Computational Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Natural Products Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Polymer Chemistry.
The meeting will begin in the afternoon of Thursday, May 4 with a variety of workshop offerings for participants. There will be poster sessions Thursday and Friday evening, with talks scheduled during the day on Friday and Saturday. This year, we are debuting the Emerging Young Investigator Symposium, which will highlight the work of three emerging independent scholars in Florida.
